Parable of the Marriage Feast

22 “Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, 2 “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. 3 And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come. 4 Again he sent out other slaves saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.”’ 5 But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business, 6 and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them. 7 But the king was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire. 8 Then he *said to his slaves, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.’ 10 Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests.” 11 “But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, 12 and he *said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:1-14

Dream: The Blackboard
Date: 3/1/2014

blackboardMy wife (Jae) and sitting by each other on a bench in an old-fashioned class room. As we sat there we kept hearing a spiritual voice saying out loud, “Jesus is coming soon! Jesus is coming soon!” Jae got up and walked over to the right side of the room where a small 2’ x 3’ blackboard hung on the wall. She placed her hand on the surface of the blackboard for about 10 seconds and then lifted her hand away. I saw her looking at it carefully and then returned to where I was sitting and said, “If you place your hand on that blackboard for about 10 seconds and lift it away, it will tell you if you’re ready for Jesus’ return.”

I’d watched as Jae had lifted her hand away from the blackboard. I knew by what she had just said of how it works, that she was ready for Christ to return. I had been praying to God to show me if I am ready for His return and now I was about to find out. I walked over to the blackboard, and placed my hand on the surface and left it there 10 seconds. Anxiously, I removed my hand and looked for the results. Am I ready for Christ’s return? I could see a few faint gray blemish like streaks, a few inches long scattered about the surface of the blackboard. The results were in, although hardly noticeable, I wasn’t completely ready for Christ’s return. I returned to my seat on the bench. Jae had moved over to the bench to my left. It was the ready bench. I had mixed emotions. Jae was ready for His return and that made me happy for her. Although, I wasn’t totally ready for Christ’s return I was glad to know where I stand with the Lord. I woke up praising God for He is good to His children.

Meaning:

In the dream there was such urgency in the Spirit, announcing that Jesus will soon return to get His bride. Only the ones who have made themselves ready will be going with him. The scriptures clearly teach that the Jesus Christ will return for His bride, which has made herself ready, clothed herself with righteous acts, and kept her gown clean.

7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” 8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Rev. 19:7-8

In the dream I wasn’t completely ready. The Lord has been doing a lot of soul work in me over the years and it has intensified even more over the last 6-9 months. I don’t want to assume I’m ready Christ’s return. I want to know if I’m ready or not.  It is too late to get yourself ready when He comes.

Soon, the Father will tell the Son to go and get His bride. Only those who have made themselves ready will be taken away to be with the Lord. You ask “How do I get myself ready?” “Didn’t Christ already do that for me?” Indeed Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection made is possible for whomsoever repents will receive the gift of eternal life, but there is more to the walk.

14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14

Getting saved is the first step to sanctification of one’s soul. Spending time in His presence fuels the sanctification process. The parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25 helps us better understand the mystery of the preparation for the coming bridegroom Jesus Christ.

Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5 Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. 6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.” Matthew 25:1-13

Briefly, the five wise virgins each brought a lamp and a flask of oil as they waited for the bridegroom to come. The five foolish virgins brought their lamps but no oil. Oil lamps in biblical times were different from modern-day oil lamps. The lamps used in the time of this parable were more like a bowl with a small rope or rag wick suspended above to draw the oil up from the reservoir below. During travel oil wasn’t likely in the bowl due spilling. Oil from a flask was poured into the bowl and the lamp. The lamp was lit and then the wick was trimmed to prevent black smoke (toxic) from filling the room and so the lamp would burn brightly in the night.

jesus is coming soon smlThe five foolish virgins each brought a lamp but with no oil with them. A bowl is a vessel and represents a person for sanctification. As the bridegroom continued to delay they all became drowsy. When the announcement came that the bridegroom was coming. All ten virgins trimmed their lamps and went out to meet him. The five foolish virgins then realized they needed oil in their lamps. They brought no oil because they never had any oil to bring. They wanted to borrow oil from the wise virgins but there wasn’t enough oil to share between the wise and the foolish. The flask represents the soul. When a believer spends time with the Lord they are receiving Holy Spirit oil into their soul (flask). This is how our soul is  sanctified.

The trimming of the wick prevents a lamp from emitting toxic smoke and makes the lamp burn brightly. The wise virgin’s lamps burned brightly as they joined the processional to the wedding. Once all that were ready entered in the door is closed. The foolish virgins hurried away and bought some oil but arrived back too late and found the door already shut to the wedding.

Jesus will not return for a harlot bride. That is detestable to Him. The walk with Jesus is about relationship. That’s it! It’s the walk of two lovers. He wants an intimate relationship with each person. Intimacy is about being alone and spending time together.

Where is the bride?

The bride is difficult to see in the earth because she isn’t boisterous or looking for attention, neither is she promoting herself. The bride of Christ prefers to be hidden. She’s dedicated to spending intimate time with the King of Kings. The bride doesn’t tell of her intimacy with Jesus but reflects Him as she transforms from one level of glory to another.

Jesus said “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Mat.22:14

He is Zion. His sheep know His voice and will not follow another. He leads us out. He knows those that are His. Because you believe in God isn’t enough. Apostle James wrote; “You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.” James 2:19

A few years ago the Lord said to me, “My bride will come not so much from the churches as from the world.”

Many that are in the churches believe they are ready because they said a salvation prayer, got baptized years ago, attend church regularly, pay tithe, and serve in some it in some capacity. Many are like the five foolish virgins, lamps with no oil sitting in the pews week after week failing to ever come into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; 5 for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Rev. 18:4-5

I had one desire since becoming a believer and that is to know truth. No matter what it cost me and it does cost to know truth. Before it is too late come humbly before the Lord, repent and allow Him to wash you over and over and hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in this hour.

A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for him who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it. Isaiah 35:8

Lay down your doctrine! Lay down your pride! Lay down your ministry! Lay down your title! Bow in silence and wait for Jesus to teach and train you in His way of love. His yoke is not burdensome.

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29

21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” John 14:21

To the churches:

15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

18 “I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.” Rev. 3:18

I want to know if I am ready for Christ return. Do you? Close to ready isn’t ready enough! The bride of Christ will be ready. Time is short. There is urgency in the Spirit to make yourself ready before it’s too late. Jesus is coming soon!

  • A New Song With TIME In IT

    1/7/2014
    Dream

Time In A SongI saw a singer/musician couple, which had composed a new song with TIME in it. The first bar looked like a normal music composition but the second bar was made up of a slot of TIME. In the dream, I said out loud, “Time in a song? The song will stop when it hits time. It cannot work!” The musicians were in a hurry to perform their new song as they sensed they did not have much time left to rehearse before performing it. The audience waited with great anticipation as the man gripped his guitar and the woman stood at the microphone ready to sing. The man played the first measure, but when they tried to play the second bar where TIME had been placed, the song just collapsed to their dismay and embarrassment. Although confounded, the musicians, being perfectionists, tried and tried again to perform the song, but each attempt failed at the second bar where TIME was in the composition. The musicians were speechless and just walked off the stage.

    -End

    Meaning:

I sought the Lord about the meaning of the dream and was given an impression from Holy Spirit that the time is short to come to the Lord before the door is closed. The song only had a one measure at the beginning and the second measure was labeled TIME. In music a bar line or measure is a segment of time defined by a given number of beats. Since time is measured in years one measure could mean one year or this year. We may not know the day or hour, but we are to know the season we are in and it is the end of days. Regardless of your doctrine, time is short. The prophetic clock is about to strike midnight, and when it sounds, the song which the world and lukewarm believers are singing too will come to a sudden end. The music in the earth will stop due to the incredible wrath that will be poured out upon the wicked of the world. The party is about to end as we know it. http://seerofgod.com/the-lion-rising-confirmation-of-christs-return/

In the dream only one measure remained before the TIME in which God sends His angels to collect and protect the ones that are His commences. Don’t be foolish and continue to play church. Church won’t save you but repenting and coming to a relationship with Jesus Christ will. Separate yourself from the things of the world. The wise virgins carried flasks (represents your soul) filled with oil (Holy Spirit). This comes from a loving, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The foolish virgins had made no real effort to come before Lord and establish an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Their lives were lived in the outer court never knowing about the Holy of Holies. Here are some other articles on the end times. http://seerofgod.com/millions-will-parish-end-times/ and read http://seerofgod.com/vision-of-the-three-legged-donkey-end-times/

    Scripture Reference:

     Mat 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

Jesus spoke in Matthew 25 of the Ten Virgins, five wise and five foolish. It’s time for the bride of Christ to make herself ready for the bridegroom is coming soon.

    Matthew 25:1-12
“Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. IS. 24: 1-23
Behold, the Lord lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants. 2 And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the maid like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor. 3 The earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled, for the Lord has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away. 5 The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.

    7 The new wine mourns,
    The vine decays,
    All the merry-hearted sigh.
8 The gaiety of tambourines ceases,
    The noise of revelers stops,
The gaiety of the harp ceases.
    9 They do not drink wine with song;
Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
    10 The city of chaos is broken down;
Every house is shut up so that none may enter.
    11 There is an outcry in the streets concerning the wine;
    All joy turns to gloom.
The gaiety of the earth is banished.
12 Desolation is left in the city
And the gate is battered to ruins.
13 For thus it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples,
As the shaking of an olive tree,
As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.
    14 They raise their voices, they shout for joy;
They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of the Lord.
15 Therefore glorify the Lord in the east,
The name of the Lord, the God of Israel,
In the coastlands of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth we hear songs, “Glory to the Righteous One,”
But I say, “ Woe to me! Woe to me! Alas for me!
    The treacherous deal treacherously,
And the treacherous deal very treacherously.”
17 Terror and pit and snare Confront you, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit,
    And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare;
For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.
19 The earth is broken asunder,
    The earth is split through,
    The earth is shaken violently.
20 The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard
And it totters like a shack,
For its transgression is heavy upon it,
And it will fall, never to rise again.
21 So it will happen in that day,
That the Lord will punish the host of heaven on high,
And the kings of the earth on earth.
22 They will be gathered together
    Like prisoners in the dungeon,
    And will be confined in prison;
And after many days they will be punished.
23 Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed,
For the Lord of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
And His glory will be before His elders.

    Isaiah 26:20-21
Come, my people, enter into your rooms
    And close your doors behind you;
    Hide for a little while
    Until indignation runs its course.
21 For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place
    To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
And the earth will reveal her bloodshed
And will no longer cover her slain.

  • Millions Will Perish – End Times

On a Friday morning a few years ago, I was quietly lying in bed not thinking about a thing, when God opened my spirit, put a scroll inside me, giving me understanding of the parable of the Ten Virgins. Then I heard the Him say, “Millions will perish because of that teaching, the pre-tribulation teaching!”

The Father had just tied the pre-tribulation doctrine and the parable of the ten virgins together. I rejoiced at hearing His voice but the meaning of what He revealed made my stomach nauseas with the thought of millions of people needlessly perishing. The nausea didn’t lift until noon that same day.

scrollA similar experience is found in Revelation chapter ten, “So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey. I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. And they said to me, You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.” Rev 10: 9-11.

I’ve had this revelation for over four years but only now have I been released to present it to the body of Christ. The delay wasn’t because God didn’t want the body to know, it was because as He said, “They’re not ready to listen!”  I hope you will listen now and consider the heart of God in this matter and draw close to Him and reconsider all that you think you know about Him and His word.

I release this word to as many people, nations, tongues and kings that will listen, but if not I have fulfilled my obligation to warn and speak out so that they may live.

What Was the Father Teaching ther Talking About?

The teaching that the Father said will cause millions to perish is the pre-tribulation doctrine.  The pre-tribulation doctrine has prevented millions from having any urgency to prepare themselves for the challenges ahead with statements like, “We’ll be out here before any real trouble begins and those that don’t believe will be left behind.” “When the church is pulled out of here then all hell will break loose.”  So why should people prepare if the only teaching they have ever heard leads them to believe they will not be here for the tribulation?

The pre-tribulation teaching removes preparation, urgency and purification from the body of Christ; for Christ will return for His bride that is without spot or blemish.

He said, “Go {your way,} Daniel, for {these} words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.” Dan. 12:9-10

This doctrine has become the principal teaching about the return of Christ to the church and the world.  It is propagated by most seminaries, preachers, teachers and it’s on the bookshelves in the Christian book stores. Christian TV ministers declare it to be so with charts and graphics.  Movies are made about it and conferences are held with speakers who support this doctrine as absolute truth and as the revelation of God Word. How could it be incorrect if it is taught by almost everyone from church leadership on down with few exceptions, and I mean few?

I know many Christians who emphatically believe the pre-tribulation doctrine and love God, serve Him and are extremely consecrated in their lives before God. The parable of the ten virgins isn’t talking about them. They will be alright as I explained in  “The Three Legged Donkey.”

    Parable of the Ten Virgins

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and {began} to sleep. But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet {him.}’ Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you {too;} go instead to the dealers and buy {some} for yourselves.’ And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'” Mat. 25:1-12

    What does the flask represent?

The flask represents the soul. The foolish virgins had not spent intimate time in the presence of the Lord getting to know Him nor did they allow their soul to be consecrated unto God by doing the Word of God. They lived their lives to God in a very impersonal, superficial relationship. They went to church and perhaps worked on staff in the church. Some served on church committee after committee, others were national and international known ministers but didn’t seek God in prayer nor had they established an intimate, personal relationship with God; they promoted their own ministry and live exclusively for themselves and not Christ.

    What does the oil represent?

oil_of_anointingThe oil represents the anointing and consecration to God.

“Then you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle {it} on Aaron and on his garments and on his sons and on his sons’ garments with him; so he and his garments shall be consecrated, as well as his sons and his sons’ garments with him. Ex. 29:21 “See How to Grow the Anointing.”

    What does the wick represents?

The wick represents the flesh nature.

“Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.” Eph. 2:3

    What do the foolish represent?

You can substitute godless for foolish and be perfectly accurate in translating the meaning. “The foolish are lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable…holding to a form of godliness but have denied its power.” 2 Tim 3:1-5

What things did the foolish and wise have in common?

All ten virgins were invited to the wedding feast.

    All ten virgins had lamps.

All ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom.

    All ten virgins experienced delay.

All ten virgins got drowsy and slept.

All ten virgins heard the shout, “Behold the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!”

What distinguishes the foolish from the wise in this parable?

The foolish virgins took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise brought along a flask filled with oil.  Not taking oil with them made them five virgins foolish.

“Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them” Mat. 25:2-3

Why Did the Foolish Not Take Oil With Them?

Have you ever wondered why the foolish virgins didn’t take any oil with them?

They didn’t have any oil to take!

It’s because they had been taught that there would be no delay and so they didn’t need any oil. They were told they were saved, they had their ticket to heaven punched and all they had to do is wait to hear that trumpet sound and they would be taken out of harm’s way in a twinkling of an eye to be with the Lord. Even before any trouble comes, the Bridegroom would come and carry them away leaving poor souls behind. The foolish virgins didn’t spend time learning about the Bridegroom and by not having flasks filled with oil indicates their lack of preparation.

    Delay, What Delay?

One common theme in this parable is that the foolish and the wise all experienced “delay”. “Now while the Bridegroom was delaying” Mat. 25:5. In other words the Bridegroom didn’t come when the foolish expected Him to return and had made no provision for the delay. The wise virgins on the other hand brought flasks with them showing they were prepared for the delay. Because the foolish have no oil reserve and the delay is long lasting during hard and difficult times, they cry out to the wise virgins for some of their oil. The foolish virgins then realize that they haven’t made themselves ready. The times have become dark and difficult and it’s hard to navigate through all the challenges. The light that is them is going out. Only if they had been taught they needed to prepare for this they would be like the wise virgins (prudent) who were able to withstand the perilous wait and shine brighter than ever. The Bible says, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Phil. 2:12

What made the five virgins wise?

The wise virgins knew the Bridegroom intimately and longed to be with Him. They lived their lives doing whatever it took to be prepared to meet Him regardless of when He came. No matter how long the delay or how difficult the times may be, their souls were filled with fine precious oil they had purchased from the dealer whose name is Holy Spirit.

    Characteristics of the Foolish

fleshThe foolish virgins are double minded and lack wisdom which comes from God and live life for themselves. A divided-minded Christian can’t receive anything from God and will have things in their lives that just stand out as not being of God.

“But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, {being} a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you doubleminded.” James 4:8

One minute the foolish may be acting Godly and truly mean it, and the next their wrapping someone’s house with toilet paper. You’ll find the foolish quoting scriptures only to be followed by the latest coarse joke or jesting; these are people with no flask of oil in their lives. They aren’t truly consecrated to God and are known to God as “foolish.”

“For My people are foolish, They know Me not; They are stupid children And have no understanding. They are shrewd to do evil, But to do good they do not know.” Jer. 4:22

    Trimming of the Lamps

A lamp has a wick and that wick represents our flesh. If the flesh in our life isn’t properly trimmed, the light of God within us will not burn brightly. Left untrimmed it will put out more smoke than light and actually become toxic and hard to be around.

Do you know people like that?

MillionsThey’re mostly smoke and toxic to be around.  Smoke represents souls, which are really messed up with a mixture of fine and awful things. The Bible speaks of them as double minded or divided souls that have been polluted by the things of the world.

“For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.” Gal. 5:17

Because the foolish couldn’t trim their wicks, it indicates they hadn’t brought their flesh into subjection of Holy Spirit and weren’t submitted to God. They weren’t living disciplined lives before God. What do you look at, what do you read, whatever you listen to can harm you if it isn’t of God.  There are many doors opened by the spirit that is behind TV shows, movies, music, books, etc.  Media always has a spirit behind it of some kind wither good or bad, it’s there. Read Influence

I know Christians that can quote scriptures and it just falls flat because the anointing isn’t working in their life. Have you been in a prayer meeting when certain people pray and there isn’t an ounce of anointing in their prayer? Have you heard testimonies that fell flat because they weren’t of God but came from a self promoting soul? Now you are beginning to see what a foolish Christian looks like. I’ve seen Christians even in leadership roles that were full of tricks, bad jokes, coarse jesting and the like. One minute they’re telling of how God moved in their meetings and an hour before that they were saran wrapping someone’s car in the church parking lot.  The foolish talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. These things ought not be!

“Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.” James 3:13

“For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,” Rom 8:6

    Summary

As you can see, the foolish virgins perished as well those who weren’t pursuing God with all their spirit soul and body. The foolish (ungodly) fill the church today and it is the foolish that will not be able to weather the storm of the tribulation to come.

Paul said, “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, {which is} your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Rom. 12:1-2

“Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin {as} instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members {as} instruments of righteousness to God.” Rom. 6:13

The call of God to the body of Christ is to make ourselves ready! “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright {and} clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” Rev. 19:7-8

“Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Lk. 21:34-36

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for your faith in our Father and his faithfulness to you and your wife through grace and divine inspiration. Reading your personal experiences of the hand-in-hand walk with our Savior and thru the wisdom and understanding of Holy Spirit has truly encouraged me to seek Him with all of my mind, my heart, my soul and my strength. We serve an amazing Creator who desires us to have a very intimate relationship with Him. Your recent “vision” of the Three-Legged Donkey-End Times and Millions Will Perish-End Times has opened my servant heart to receive God’s truth as opposed to steadfastly holding onto the more popular belief of a pre-tribulation rapture. It has encouraged me to grow “deep roots” into our Father and to prepare extra flasks of oil for my lamp should Christ tarry his return. Dressed daily in the full body armor as provisioned in Ephesians, we must be prepared to protect our hearts in these last days and conquer through the power of Holy Spirit and in the grace, peace and love of our beautiful Christ.
Blessings upon you and your home.
