The Adulterous Church – Many Are Called – Few Chosen

Journal entry August, 25, 2009 – At 5:15 am – I heard in the Spirit what sounded like a “notifier contentment” ring tone available on a Blackberry phone. I quickly turned to my phone, which was on the nightstand table, to see if the sound possibly could have originated from the phone. The phone indicated that it had no message activity at all. In fact the alarm, which initiated at the present time of 5:45 am, that morning didn’t play the alarm tone at all. I had to pull the battery out, reinstall it to reboot the phone, in order for the sounds to start working properly again.

I have heard other messages similar to this one in the Spirit before when God was about to give a revelation or a word to me or to me for someone else; Hearing in the Spirit sounds as real as hearing in the natural. The best way I know to distinguish the origin of the sound is to take a quick inventory of my surroundings looking for anything that may have caused the sound. A good example would be knocking at the front door, if no one is at the door; nor anyone in the area at the time of the knocking, more than likely you heard in the Spirit. If you can rule out all natural sources of the sound, then you may indeed have heard something in the Spirit. Therefore, I put myself on full alert to be listening, watching and waiting to see what the Lord had to say to me. Hab. 2:1-2

adulterous-church1Journal entry August 26, 2009 – Sometime during the night I was given a series of dreams where a bed was situated in the middle of a dark expansive room that reached into infinity. The bed was the only piece of furniture in the room.  Lying in the bed was a naked woman and she was committing adultery with another being, which was a demonic spirit. I saw Jesus standing out in from of me, slightly to my right, watching this take place.  I heard Him say, “This isn’t my bride”. I began to say, “Oh Lord I don’t want to be part of this, Lord forgive us, and forgive your church!”

The same message was given to me in a dream July 17, 2009. Read The Preparation of the Bride – The Epoch Dream #5 The Condition of the Bride.

Scripture Ref. 1 Cor. 6:15-16 “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body {with her?} For He says, “THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.”

I believe the primary spirit in which the church is committing adultery is the Babylonian spirit. What is the spirit of Babylon?

Martin Luther wrote in 1520, “Hence we see how angry God is with us, in that he has permitted godless teachers to conceal the words of this testament from us, and thereby, as much as in them lay, to extinguish faith. And the inevitable result of this extinguishing of faith is even now plainly to be seen – namely, the most godless superstition of works. For when faith dies and the word of faith is silent, works and the traditions of works immediately crowd into their place. By them we have been carried away out of our own land, as in a Babylonian captivity, and despoiled of all our precious possessions. This has been the fate of the mass. It has been converted by the teaching of godless men into a good work, which they themselves call an “opus operatum” (from the works done referring to the efficacy of the Sacraments) and by which they presumptuously imagine themselves all-powerful with God.”

Babylonian SpiritThe Babylonian spirit is a spirit that sets out to extinguish faith with false doctrine which leads man into works. For when faith dies there is no faith which leads people to ascend to God in their own way. It disrupts the plan and purposes of God by its influence of a non-God spirit.

The Babylonian spirit influences ministries to do works such as, let us build, let us make a name for ourselves, let us do great projects, let us be like God. It replaces the faith with works and does not follow nor seek the leading or direction of Holy Spirit.

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top [may reach] unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Gen. 11:4

“Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the Lord ” Jeremiah 51:53

Through false teachers which infiltrated the church hundreds of years ago the church has been divided and led into error and immorality.  Those who are to be the bride of Christ will have to come out of the religious system which is controlled by the Babylonian spirit.

In the book of Revelation, the Bible gives us a clear picture of the spiritual status of the world in the last hour of the age. If the Bible says that in the end time judgment the Babylonian spirit falls, that tells me that it had ascended to a high place.

After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illumined with his glory. And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. “For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed {acts of} immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.” I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Rev. 18:1-5

In the book of Revelation, Jesus said to the early churches that they were holding on to false teachings, were eating things sacrificed to idols, tolerated the spirit of Jezebel and were committing acts of immorality. This pretty much sums up the methodology of the Babylonian spirit and it very much paints a picture of the world church today.

Bride MadeReady“And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: The One who has the sharp two-edged sword says this: ‘But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit {acts of} immorality.  So you also have some who in the same way hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans.” Rev 2: 12, 14-15 (Note: The Nicolaitans refers to those who, while professing themselves to be Christians, lived licentiously (recklessly and/or extravagantly.) This sounds exactly like the majority of the church today!)

To the church at Thyatira:

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like burnished bronze, says this: ‘But I have {this} against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit {acts of} immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.” Rev 2:18, 20

To the church at Sardis:

“But you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. ‘He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev. 3: 4-6

To the church at Laodicea:

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.’ Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing, and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked,” Rev. 3: 14-17

When looking at the western church today, particularly America, I see the same immorality in the world has crept in. Not only is there gross immorality in the church today it is tolerated to a great extent and even defended by many denominations. The loss of the message of consecration and holiness has created a church which has no authority or the fire of God. For most Christians, intimacy with Christ was lost long ago and what remains exhibits few of the characteristics of the bride of Christ.

As a prerequisite, the bride of Christ will have both fire and authority because she has been purged, purified and refined by His winnowing fork. The message I keep hearing from Holy Spirit is, “Come out of her my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues”.

Recently the Father was speaking to me and said something which caused me to shudder. He said, “My bride doesn’t come from the church as much as from out of the world”.  That statement shook me somewhat but I know it is true. The great end-time harvest will bring in many souls from the world and a huge contingent will be made of youth. Those who are truly in the church system today, and are truly seeking Christ in intimacy, will come out of the church system to serve the Lord’s bride as gatherers and preparers, for the bride to make herself ready.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright {and} clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he *said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’ ” And he *said to me, “These are true words of God.” Rev 19: 7-9

Preparation of the BrideAccording to the Bible, the marriage supper of the Lamb is by invitation only. We must be a close and intimate acquaintance with the bridegroom to be invited and show up wearing the proper dinner attire.   In Matthew 22: 11-14 “But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he *said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. “Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ “For many are called, but few {are} chosen.”

The Message From the Podiums Must Change

In the prearranged times of God there are revelations and insight released to appointed faithful individuals of God which bring new understanding to the body of Christ of the things of God. God has used individual such as Martin Luther, John Wesley, Kenneth Hagin and many others for His divine purpose. A now God is saying to the body of Christ, “I’m doing a new thing and it’s time to move from this mountain”.

“”The LORD our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Duet 1:6

There has been a paradigm shift in the Spirit of God and places His focus on the preparation of His bride. The message from the pulpits must align with the purpose of God. Going forward, it will become evident which ministers are truly hearing Holy Spirit and which ones are not. Christ is coming back for a bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish; a bride which has made herself ready for the Son of God.  All those who hear His voice say, “Come out of the world and follow Me,” make yourself ready!

“{Come} with me from Lebanon, {my} bride, May you come with me from Lebanon. Journey down from the summit of Amana, From the summit of Senir and Hermon, From the dens of lions, From the mountains of leopards. Sgs 4:8

  • Millions Will Perish – End Times

On a Friday morning a few years ago, I was quietly lying in bed not thinking about a thing, when God opened my spirit, put a scroll inside me, giving me understanding of the parable of the Ten Virgins. Then I heard the Him say, “Millions will perish because of that teaching, the pre-tribulation teaching!”

The Father had just tied the pre-tribulation doctrine and the parable of the ten virgins together. I rejoiced at hearing His voice but the meaning of what He revealed made my stomach nauseas with the thought of millions of people needlessly perishing. The nausea didn’t lift until noon that same day.

scrollA similar experience is found in Revelation chapter ten, “So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey. I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. And they said to me, You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.” Rev 10: 9-11.

I’ve had this revelation for over four years but only now have I been released to present it to the body of Christ. The delay wasn’t because God didn’t want the body to know, it was because as He said, “They’re not ready to listen!”  I hope you will listen now and consider the heart of God in this matter and draw close to Him and reconsider all that you think you know about Him and His word.

I release this word to as many people, nations, tongues and kings that will listen, but if not I have fulfilled my obligation to warn and speak out so that they may live.

What Was the Father Teaching ther Talking About?

The teaching that the Father said will cause millions to perish is the pre-tribulation doctrine.  The pre-tribulation doctrine has prevented millions from having any urgency to prepare themselves for the challenges ahead with statements like, “We’ll be out here before any real trouble begins and those that don’t believe will be left behind.” “When the church is pulled out of here then all hell will break loose.”  So why should people prepare if the only teaching they have ever heard leads them to believe they will not be here for the tribulation?

The pre-tribulation teaching removes preparation, urgency and purification from the body of Christ; for Christ will return for His bride that is without spot or blemish.

He said, “Go {your way,} Daniel, for {these} words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.” Dan. 12:9-10

This doctrine has become the principal teaching about the return of Christ to the church and the world.  It is propagated by most seminaries, preachers, teachers and it’s on the bookshelves in the Christian book stores. Christian TV ministers declare it to be so with charts and graphics.  Movies are made about it and conferences are held with speakers who support this doctrine as absolute truth and as the revelation of God Word. How could it be incorrect if it is taught by almost everyone from church leadership on down with few exceptions, and I mean few?

I know many Christians who emphatically believe the pre-tribulation doctrine and love God, serve Him and are extremely consecrated in their lives before God. The parable of the ten virgins isn’t talking about them. They will be alright as I explained in  “The Three Legged Donkey.”

    Parable of the Ten Virgins

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and {began} to sleep. But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet {him.}’ Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you {too;} go instead to the dealers and buy {some} for yourselves.’ And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'” Mat. 25:1-12

    What does the flask represent?

The flask represents the soul. The foolish virgins had not spent intimate time in the presence of the Lord getting to know Him nor did they allow their soul to be consecrated unto God by doing the Word of God. They lived their lives to God in a very impersonal, superficial relationship. They went to church and perhaps worked on staff in the church. Some served on church committee after committee, others were national and international known ministers but didn’t seek God in prayer nor had they established an intimate, personal relationship with God; they promoted their own ministry and live exclusively for themselves and not Christ.

    What does the oil represent?

oil_of_anointingThe oil represents the anointing and consecration to God.

“Then you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle {it} on Aaron and on his garments and on his sons and on his sons’ garments with him; so he and his garments shall be consecrated, as well as his sons and his sons’ garments with him. Ex. 29:21 “See How to Grow the Anointing.”

    What does the wick represents?

The wick represents the flesh nature.

“Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.” Eph. 2:3

    What do the foolish represent?

You can substitute godless for foolish and be perfectly accurate in translating the meaning. “The foolish are lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable…holding to a form of godliness but have denied its power.” 2 Tim 3:1-5

What things did the foolish and wise have in common?

All ten virgins were invited to the wedding feast.

    All ten virgins had lamps.

All ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom.

    All ten virgins experienced delay.

All ten virgins got drowsy and slept.

All ten virgins heard the shout, “Behold the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!”

What distinguishes the foolish from the wise in this parable?

The foolish virgins took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise brought along a flask filled with oil.  Not taking oil with them made them five virgins foolish.

“Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them” Mat. 25:2-3

Why Did the Foolish Not Take Oil With Them?

Have you ever wondered why the foolish virgins didn’t take any oil with them?

They didn’t have any oil to take!

It’s because they had been taught that there would be no delay and so they didn’t need any oil. They were told they were saved, they had their ticket to heaven punched and all they had to do is wait to hear that trumpet sound and they would be taken out of harm’s way in a twinkling of an eye to be with the Lord. Even before any trouble comes, the Bridegroom would come and carry them away leaving poor souls behind. The foolish virgins didn’t spend time learning about the Bridegroom and by not having flasks filled with oil indicates their lack of preparation.

    Delay, What Delay?

One common theme in this parable is that the foolish and the wise all experienced “delay”. “Now while the Bridegroom was delaying” Mat. 25:5. In other words the Bridegroom didn’t come when the foolish expected Him to return and had made no provision for the delay. The wise virgins on the other hand brought flasks with them showing they were prepared for the delay. Because the foolish have no oil reserve and the delay is long lasting during hard and difficult times, they cry out to the wise virgins for some of their oil. The foolish virgins then realize that they haven’t made themselves ready. The times have become dark and difficult and it’s hard to navigate through all the challenges. The light that is them is going out. Only if they had been taught they needed to prepare for this they would be like the wise virgins (prudent) who were able to withstand the perilous wait and shine brighter than ever. The Bible says, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Phil. 2:12

What made the five virgins wise?

The wise virgins knew the Bridegroom intimately and longed to be with Him. They lived their lives doing whatever it took to be prepared to meet Him regardless of when He came. No matter how long the delay or how difficult the times may be, their souls were filled with fine precious oil they had purchased from the dealer whose name is Holy Spirit.

    Characteristics of the Foolish

fleshThe foolish virgins are double minded and lack wisdom which comes from God and live life for themselves. A divided-minded Christian can’t receive anything from God and will have things in their lives that just stand out as not being of God.

“But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, {being} a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you doubleminded.” James 4:8

One minute the foolish may be acting Godly and truly mean it, and the next their wrapping someone’s house with toilet paper. You’ll find the foolish quoting scriptures only to be followed by the latest coarse joke or jesting; these are people with no flask of oil in their lives. They aren’t truly consecrated to God and are known to God as “foolish.”

“For My people are foolish, They know Me not; They are stupid children And have no understanding. They are shrewd to do evil, But to do good they do not know.” Jer. 4:22

    Trimming of the Lamps

A lamp has a wick and that wick represents our flesh. If the flesh in our life isn’t properly trimmed, the light of God within us will not burn brightly. Left untrimmed it will put out more smoke than light and actually become toxic and hard to be around.

Do you know people like that?

MillionsThey’re mostly smoke and toxic to be around.  Smoke represents souls, which are really messed up with a mixture of fine and awful things. The Bible speaks of them as double minded or divided souls that have been polluted by the things of the world.

“For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.” Gal. 5:17

Because the foolish couldn’t trim their wicks, it indicates they hadn’t brought their flesh into subjection of Holy Spirit and weren’t submitted to God. They weren’t living disciplined lives before God. What do you look at, what do you read, whatever you listen to can harm you if it isn’t of God.  There are many doors opened by the spirit that is behind TV shows, movies, music, books, etc.  Media always has a spirit behind it of some kind wither good or bad, it’s there. Read Influence

I know Christians that can quote scriptures and it just falls flat because the anointing isn’t working in their life. Have you been in a prayer meeting when certain people pray and there isn’t an ounce of anointing in their prayer? Have you heard testimonies that fell flat because they weren’t of God but came from a self promoting soul? Now you are beginning to see what a foolish Christian looks like. I’ve seen Christians even in leadership roles that were full of tricks, bad jokes, coarse jesting and the like. One minute they’re telling of how God moved in their meetings and an hour before that they were saran wrapping someone’s car in the church parking lot.  The foolish talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. These things ought not be!

“Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.” James 3:13

“For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,” Rom 8:6

    Summary

As you can see, the foolish virgins perished as well those who weren’t pursuing God with all their spirit soul and body. The foolish (ungodly) fill the church today and it is the foolish that will not be able to weather the storm of the tribulation to come.

Paul said, “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, {which is} your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Rom. 12:1-2

“Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin {as} instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members {as} instruments of righteousness to God.” Rom. 6:13

The call of God to the body of Christ is to make ourselves ready! “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright {and} clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” Rev. 19:7-8

“Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Lk. 21:34-36

    Comment by Reader:

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for your faith in our Father and his faithfulness to you and your wife through grace and divine inspiration. Reading your personal experiences of the hand-in-hand walk with our Savior and thru the wisdom and understanding of Holy Spirit has truly encouraged me to seek Him with all of my mind, my heart, my soul and my strength. We serve an amazing Creator who desires us to have a very intimate relationship with Him. Your recent “vision” of the Three-Legged Donkey-End Times and Millions Will Perish-End Times has opened my servant heart to receive God’s truth as opposed to steadfastly holding onto the more popular belief of a pre-tribulation rapture. It has encouraged me to grow “deep roots” into our Father and to prepare extra flasks of oil for my lamp should Christ tarry his return. Dressed daily in the full body armor as provisioned in Ephesians, we must be prepared to protect our hearts in these last days and conquer through the power of Holy Spirit and in the grace, peace and love of our beautiful Christ.
Blessings upon you and your home.

  • How to Make Successful Directional Changes

detourSome Christians are seeking to find the plan that God has for their life but forget the fundamentals of seeking first the Kingdom of God and then all these things will be added unto you. Learning how to get quiet on the inside and grow your relationship with the Lord will help you begin to hear God impressions upon your spirit in whatever way He chooses to convey them.

“But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it. In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for {us} with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to {the will of} God. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to {His} purpose.” Rom. 8: 25-28

What is happening in your life in the present, whether good or bad, is a result of what you have or have not prayed out in the days past, and what happens in the future will be a result of your present prayer life.

At times, the Holy Spirit will impress you to pray about certain matters that concern His plan for your life. You’ll have an anointing or unction of the Holy Spirit to pray but if you ignore Holy Spirit’s promptings that unction will lift. If you keep ignoring the Holy Spirit leading He will stop dealing with you about this issue because you’ve become callous and insensitive to His promptings.

Why would God give more revelation to an individual who is ignoring what He has already revealed to them.

    Directional Changes (Transition)

Directional changes in our walk are necessary if we are going to walk in God’s will for our life. Some examples of directional changes are geographical relocation, employment, church affiliation, education, relationships, stepping down or into ministry, etc.

Directional changes also present the greatest challenge in the Christian walk because it requires so many aspects of our spiritual being to walk in the perfect will of God. The Bible is full of the wisdom of God but it doesn’t contain detailed information involving directional changes for your personal life. Those things come from the leading of the Holy Spirit.

In order to make a successful directional change in the Christian walk understand that it is made up of five parts.

    1.) Revelation

The “revelation” is what you heard God say to you however he chose to say it, either in your spirit, hearing His thoughts, His voice, dreams, visions, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, prophecy, etc.

    2.) Interpretation

What did God say, how did He say it and what is the meaning. Always hold up before God what you receive from Him. Don’t jump to a quick conclusion what He means with out first getting His understanding on the matter. This is critical and if you don’t do it you will certainly fail in successfully following God’s plan for your life.

    3.) Confirmation

Ask God for to confirm what you understand and remain objective and open trusting Him to show if you have heard him correctly or not.

    4.) Submit It

Submit what you are hearing to someone who has proven fruit of following God’s plan for their life. This may be your pastor, mentor, elder, or someone who you know exhibits Godly wisdom in their life.

    5.) Application

Find out from God how to implement what you now understand He wants you to do. This often is the most difficult piece of the following God’s plan for our life.

    How To Hear

directionalIt is vital to read and study the New Testament and the other books of the Bible in order to gauge what you hear lines up with His word. God will not ever violate what He has already spoken to us in the written text.  There are other voices besides the voice of God so be sure and become a student of the word. 2 Tim. 2:15

When you hear a word, run it through these filters to see if it passes the following test:

    • 1) Does it align with God’s word?
    • 2) Does it align with His character, His nature?
    • 3) Does it build faith?
    • 4) Does it sound like something God would say?

If what you heard will pass this test then it’s pretty safe to say you heard God.

Determine what you’ll do at God’s prompting before hand. Make a decision to respond instantly to Holy Spirit’s leading. As you consistently practice obedience to Holy Spirit, especially in the small things that come up in the Spirit, you will consistently grow in hearing and be able to hear what God has to say about more important matters for your life. You will grow in the wisdom of God.

If you don’t practice following God in the small, quiet promptings throughout the day you will never be able to following Him confidently in the bigger things. A healthy God relationship is developed over the course of time spent walking with the conscious presence of God throughout each day.

The scripture below is a “key” verse in following God’s plan for your life. If you don’t adhere to it you will find it difficult if not impossible to follow God’s plan for your life.

“and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need. 1 Thes. 4:11-12

If you find yourself in need examine your own life to see if you are following each aspect of 1 Thes. 4:11-12. It is vital to do! Are you having trouble hearing God, then examine your life to see if you’re living a quiet life? Is your behavior toward outsiders of the faith appropriate? Then perhaps you need to attend your own business, get busy with your duties and be quiet. Do these things and your needs will come easily when you ask God for them, exactly right on time.

    • Asking God for your needs and the needs of others and seeing Him faithfully supply them right before your eyes is God’s plan to establish trust so you will follow Him into a greater and more intimate relationship. LK. 11: 9-13 (Ask, Seek, Knock)
    • Knowing the will of God and walking in the will of God is contingent upon your prayer life and upon being established in the word.
    • The more time you spend waiting before the Lord in the word and in prayer, the more sure you will be of the next step to take.
    • In God’s presence, what is not of God in your life will gradually fall away. (Weights, strongholds, sins will fall off your life)
    • As you practice out the mystery of God’s plan for your life according to the word, the Lord will take you deeper in the realm of prayer than you’ve ever been before. (not mystical or floating, but an intimate level of communion with Him)
    • It should be as natural for the believer to be led by the Spirit and to walk by faith as it is for a fish to swim in water and a bird to fly in the air.

    More Keys to Hearing

First believe that you can hear His voice. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;” JN 10:27

    • Make a decision to always stay sensitive to those gentle prompting of the Holy Spirit.
    • Set aside daily time to wait upon the Lord in prayer and in the Word to discover His guidance and direction for your life. You can’t just come to God when you want to and expect to grow in hearing God.
    • Wait long enough in prayer for all your physical senses and emotions to be brought into captivity so they no longer dominate you. The more you practice this the easier it becomes to become still in your thoughts and body.
    • Spend time in God’s presence, ministering to the Lord in praise and worship. This will quiet your mind and strengthen your spirit. (worship means to bow down, prostrate oneself)
    • Praying in your prayer language (tongues) will build you up (edify) your spirit man and fine tune your spiritual senses. Pray in the Spirit long enough and you will get deeper over into the Spirit and you will be able to differentiate between your soul and your spirit man.
    • Praying in the spirit is like when an astronaut fires the retro rockets on the spacecraft to adjust the speed, direction or orientation of the spacecraft. When we pray in the spirit the speed (timing), direction (transitions) and orientation are adjusted so we arrive at our destination per God’s plan.. If NASA wants to place a spacecraft on the Mars they have to aim where Mars will be not where it is currently at for a successful landing.
    • Journaling – Record the dreams, visions, impressions, prophecies, flow of thoughts, rhema word in a journal on a consistent basis over a long period of time. It’s like putting a puzzle together one piece at a time. Over a long enough period of time the puzzle begins to take shape and it’ picture is displayed.By writing down what you see in dreams, visions, prophecies, etc you’re showing God that you’re honoring His voice and that you place value upon what He is telling you. It is a fact that within a few minutes or even before waking up from a dream that many details have already faded from our memory. Rehearse what you heard or saw in the dream when you wake during the night and record it in your journal as soon as possible. Do you remember all the dreams you had last week, last month, last years? The greater the revelation you receive, the greater the challenge which lies ahead. You’ll need everything God conveyed to you in your journal to strengthen your faith when things aren’t going like you thought they would. That is one of the greatest reasons to record the revelation.  Hab. 2:1-2
    • Waiting in silence before him and actively listening (being attune) to Him at all times even during your busy day.
    • Not reasoning trying to figure it out in your natural understanding.
    • Be steadfast in faith and trust.
    • Quiet Time – Get still long enough on the inside. Set a table next to where you have quiet time and when your busy body wants to think about your busy day take the time to write down the events of your busy day and tell your flesh that you don’t have to think about that now it’s covered. Tell your flesh and your soul to be quiet that you’re having quiet time with God now, so it doesn’t interrupt. Tell your body that after quiet time you’ll take care of your body’s needs.Once your body & mind are quiet, listen way down deep in your innermost being to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. “Don’t be lazy here and stop short of hearing what the Lord is saying to you in your spirit. “If you become spiritually lethargic, you could end up following your own soulful desires all the time thinking you’re following God’s plan for your life.

wrongwaySearch around to find Holy Spirit’s leading during your quiet time when you don’t sense the anointing. You may read the word awhile waiting, then pray for a bit still waiting, pick up a book reading and waiting, try praying in the spirit and usually somewhere in the process you will begin to sense the leading of the Holy Spirit. Practice this often and even if during your entire quiet time you never sensed the leading of the Holy Spirit don’t be discourage, return again and again until you do. It will happen and more often as you continue to practice the presence of the Lord. It is a very holy pursuit and it pleases God. He will show up, that is His promise.

    • Meditate on God’s word continually especially when you lay down to sleep or wake up in the night. “My eyes anticipate the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.” Ps. 119:48

Ministering to the Lord means: Linger in His presence, loving and worshiping Him for all that He is and for all He has done for you. “It means to drink in His Glory and power and to let Him saturate every part of your being.” Acts 13:2 – “As they ministered to the Lord & fasted” Ministering to the Lord you create the kind of atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit can speak to your heart.)

Over the course of time you’ll understand between your own wants and desires and what God wants for you. Then we capture the heart of God in a certain matter and know how and when to make the directional change.

Be still and know I AM God! Ps. 46:10

Learn to Distinguish Between Your Spirit and Soul

You have to learn to distinguish between your soulful thoughts and desires and the Lord’s leading in your spirit. How do I do that?

“Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Any man of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart, puts right before his face the stumbling block of his iniquity, and {then} comes to the prophet, I the LORD will be brought to give him an answer in the matter in view of the multitude of his idols,” Ezk.14:4

“For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Heb. 4:12

    • Being well grounded in the Word is essential to distinguishing between soul and spirit.
    • Being established in the Word will also help you learn recognize the voice of satan as well. The devil will try and speak subtle lies to deceive you.

“You are of [your] father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own [resources], for he is a liar and the father of it.”  JN 8:44

    • “This great dragon–the ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world–was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.” Rev.12:9
    • God speaks to your spirit. What the Holy Spirit says will always line up with His word. God will never lead your steps beyond the principles of His word.
    • Examine your motives for taking the step you’re considering. Why do I want to do this? (Do I want to do this for my own selfish benefit or because someone else is doing this?) “For all who are led by the Spirit, these are the sons of God.” Rom. 8:14
    • Is this something my soulful nature wants to do or something God wants me to do?

(Sometimes it takes a considerable amount of time staying in the presence of God to settle those questions)

Misleading Comes From:  The truth of God is ministering to your own spirit, constantly feeding your spirit by meditating on the word of God and building a relationship by fellowshipping with the Lord is the most important thing you can do to develop your spirit, so you can ascertain God’s will for you life. (Only then can you live in the abundance God has provided for you.)
    • My own emotions (HALT, hurt, angry, lonely, tired)
    • My own personality
    • Failure to study God word. 2 Tim. 2:15
    • Disobedience – (If I am unwilling to follow God in the small things I will never be able to follow Him in the bigger things in life).
    • Remaining in the mental realm (reasoning will take you out of the plan of God if you continue in it long enough. You will miss His will for your life when you stay in your natural thinking.
    • Remaining in the physical realm
    • Preconceived concepts of God are futile and an impediment to your walk with Him.
    • Forgetting that the spiritual realm is the root, the stem and the ground of which all else grows
    • Not following your conscious (gut) or peace.

Now That I’ve Heard God Then What?

    Timing

stop“My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune.” JN. 7:6 Jesus was speaking about His ministry when the disciples implored Him to reveal His ministry at the Feast of Tabernacles.

Sometimes it takes long seasons of waiting before the Lord in prayer in order to get your motives pure and your priorities sorted according to the word and distinguish between the clamoring of your soul and the voice of the spirit. Just because God tells you to do something it doesn’t necessarily mean immediately. Hold up what He has told you before Him and seek His guidance in the matter.

If God tells you He wants you to start a new church don’t immediately get your shovel and begin to break ground. Or if He tells you to quit your job find out how he wants you to do that. Hold everything He reveals to you in His words, dreams, visions and prophecies before Him to get His understanding in each matter. It is essential in following God’s plan for your life.

Not all delays are due to you. In order for you to fulfill what God has for you requires other individuals to align with God’s plan as well in order for you to step into yours. These are circumstances in which you may never be made aware, however when the circumstance changes, doors begin to open.

There are so many contributing factors to list. A good example can be your destiny is awaiting an inventions or technology deployment to become main stream before you can begin what you have been given by God to perform. The Internet has allowed many to step into a new kind of ministry which wasn’t possible only a few years ago. Before TV became main stream no one could become a TV evangelist or build a world wide broadcast ministry. And even that required the development of rockets that could deliver satellites to space.

What if I’ve been doing that and I still haven’t heard anything?

Keep doing it; don’t place a time limit on God! Keep on seeking the Lord in the word and prayer.

If you want to be led by the Spirit always be willing to respond to His leading, even if it doesn’t’ agree with your own human reasoning, expectations or desires.

Don’t hinder your ability to discern His guidance through wrong thinking or selfish ambitions.

Stay teachable and open your heart to anything the Lord may tell you. He will teach you His own ways and direct into His plan for My life.

Remember, We’re seeking Him and His Kingdom first and then all these things will be added unto us.

  • Release My Word

It was during the night some years past now but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I found myself sitting in a chair in heaven, which faced a large picture window. Through the window I could look down upon the earth as it slowly rotated in the big expanse of space.

Then I heard Jesus speaking from directly behind me say, “There’s the problem, here’s My word!” I didn’t turn around but only focused on looking at the earth trying to see the problem He saw but it just appeared to be the same revolving earth as before He spoke.

window-heavenThen Jesus let loose with His word and it was glorious. Everything in my spirit and ever fiber of my being was excited by Him speaking for truth. He spoke and spoke and then He stopped. I immediately jumped up out of the chair and ran over to the window and said, “And I release that into the earth!” No one told me to do that I just was so filled up with His word that I had to release it or explode.

No sooner had I sat back down in the chair I heard Him say, “There’s the problem, here’s My word!” Once again my spirit and body were saturated with the glorious power of the Jesus speaking the word.

“In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God.” John 1. He spoke again as my entire being was shaking in the power of His word then stopped and as before I jumped up out of the chair and released it into the earth.

This same process continued all of that night and then when I woke up my wife asked me if I had any dreams that night and I replied that it wasn’t a dream at all but I was in the spirit and I was taken to a room in heaven where Jesus watches over the earth, where He trains the saints how to address problems in the world we live in.

The next night I found myself right back in the heaven, sitting in the same chair in front of the larger picture window watching the earth spin round and round. Jesus would point out problems then speak His word out loud and I would run to the window and release His word into the earth. As the first night the process lasted all night long. It was so thrilling and wonderful to hear Jesus speak forth the word. I can see why the officers that were sent to arrest Jesus returned without Him as in John 7:46 The officers answered, “Never has a man spoken the way this man speaks.”

Now on the third night I again found myself seated in the same chair in heaven in front of the picture window that gave a perfect God eye view of the earth from His perspective. Immediately I heard Jesus begin to speak the word so powerfully as my being was caught up in the power of the Jesus who is the Word speak the Word. I started to jump up and release His words into the earth when before I could do it He stopped and said, “And I release that into the earth!”

heaven-chair I quickly turned around for the first time to look at Him trying to understand what had just happened. Suddenly after two nights of doing this one way we’re changing now? I saw Jesus in a simple light cream colored gown walking away. Then he turned His head just enough to see me as He continued to walk away and said, “That one was for you!”

The night ended and I woke up in my bed next to my wife answering the same question we ask every morning, “Did I have any dreams last night?” I said, “No, it wasn’t a dream, I was there with Him. He spoke His word and released into the earth for me!” Now I have to know what He spoke and released into the earth for me. When times are hard, lean even dry in the walk I always draw on this experience and say to Him, “Oh Lord that I may fulfill that which you have released in the earth for me to become!”

I’m still in awe when I think about it. Oh saints of God what was Jesus teaching me.

The message is simple. When we see or encounter a problem in the world we live in we’re not to say our useless words, murmur and complain or run from the problem but to find out what the word of God says concerning the situation and release it directly at the problem. We speak the word directly at the problem  as Jesus taught in Mt. 17:20 “say to the mountain.” Whatever it is that is you see wrong in your life, your relationships, your employment, your community, your nation speak the word of God over and until you see the problem removed by the power of the spoken word of God.

“And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” Mt. 17:20

Jesus wasn’t talking of the saints moving dirt or large rock formations but moving the impossible objects that oppose the plan and purposes of God in the earth from being accomplished as things are done in heaven.

“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Mt. 6:9-10

This is His will for you…to speak His word.

  • My Wisdom Floods the Earth

    Prophecy 1/17/09

In retrospect I am all things to all people. My wisdom floods the earth and My counsel is wise beyond all measure of problems and doubt. I am full of the wisdom of the ages to come, for I alone have understanding in these matters. Few seek My counsel in these matters for they think they can not know. Indeed they can know for I am not far removed from their paths. Pro. 3:19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

gpsInside of each human resides a part of Me and the spirit of man is molded from creation for man to communicate with Me. It is as much a receiver as it is a transmitter. In your terms today compare it to how a Global Positioning System (GPS) works. It tells Me your location, direction, speed, course and it is always on, always transmitting, always tuned for My monitoring.

Is. 3o:21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

The difference between a believer and a non-believer is that the believer is receiving information about their course, speed, trouble, such as roadblocks, detours and the like as well as information about rest stops, provision, encouragement to press on and so much more. It is My desire that all would come to Me. I love all of my creation equally. In these last days it will become more and more vital to tune in and listen to My distinct voice as I prompt you with information about all manner of things from the smallest detail of your daily life to the realm of heavenly importance.

Knowledge will flood your soul; the knowledge of God will come in flashes of revelation, in special counsel within My courts, dreams, visions and the unlocking of the mysteries of My word.

girl_handMy plans are absolute, non-wavering and precise. I will accomplish My plan with you or without you, you must decide your choice. Come along for the ride of your life or pursue your own course that leads to defeat, confusion, disappointment, unbelief and a turning away from Me, ultimately death.

Jer. 7:23 “But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’

Now is the time to come and buy from Me fine gold and silver. This is the time to prepare for the wicked days ahead. Now is the time to be in prayer, soaking in My Spirit, permeating your soul with the love and wisdom of the Unwavering God.

Take heed and listen, the storm of all storms is coming in the earth, but now is time of “Preparation of My Bride”. I say Come, Come Now!

  • Portals of Heaven, Ancient Gates

I believe understanding the things of God is vital to walking in the fullness of what God has given us in the new covenant through Jesus Christ. I by no means have full understanding, but I do have access to the Father in heaven and so do you.

    So why talk about portals?

The church body, for the most part, has little or no knowledge of the existence of portals and does not recognize their significance.  Historically, God has used portals in the events of man and continues to do so today.

When we sing the verse in Psalm 24:7 about the gates or ancient doors we have no idea what we are singing about but it sounds good to our ears.  Oh saints of God, I hope that somehow I may be able to reveal  the beauty of what God is saying to us through this verse.

“Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!” Ps. 24:7

What are ancient doors and ancient gates?

Ancient gates or doors are portals of access established by God from the third heaven to earth.  They are unobstructed by demonic interference in which angels travel from heaven and back again while provisions  are delivered, transportation, translation and revelation are given to man.

In Daniel 10:13 he is informed that the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding (standing opposite) the angel for twenty one days.  Michael one of the chief princes (angels) came to help fight through the portal in the demonic land of Babylon to give Daniel understanding.

In the book of Genesis, chapter 28, verses 10-17 the story of Jacob’s dream is recorded. “He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.” Gen. 28:12

In verse 13 God is standing at the top of the ladder.  “And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, “I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants.”

These verses are a wonderful account of how God reveals a portal in a dream to man a prophesy Jacob’s destiny to him.

Once in praise and worship at our church, I saw a portal open above me that looked like a tornado and at the top of the swirling cloud was this face smiling and waving at me.  It only lasted a few seconds but it was a gate or ancient door that opened up for me.

     Mt. Horeb

God established a portal from the third heaven to Mt. Horeb.

Elijah was instructed to leave from sitting under a juniper tree to Mt. Horeb to see and hear what God had to show him. Sometimes it is necessary to leave from where you are to another place to hear or experience God; wise men still travel to see Him!

“So He said, ‘Go forth and stand on the mountain before the LORD.’ And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; {but} the LORD {was} not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, {but} the LORD {was} not in the earthquake.” 1 Kings 19:11

Proverbs 8:34 teaches that a man will be blessed who sits, and waits, and listens at the Lord’s gate.

Oh, that You would rend the heavens {and} come down, That the mountains might quake at Your presence–As fire kindles the brushwood, {as} fire causes water to boil– To make Your name known to Your adversaries, {That} the nations may tremble at Your presence! When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence. Is. 64:1-3

“Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorposts.”

     Lot

In Genesis 19:1 Lot is waiting at the gate of Sodom when two angels appear to him. In the ancient world, the gate of the city was not only an outlet, but also where meetings of great importance occurred.

“And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing [them] rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.”

In Genesis 18:21 the Lord states that He will go down to investigate or scout it out for Himself to see this evil which is stinking up the heavens.  “I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.”

The “go down” happens when the angels appear at the gate or ancient door of the city.

     Portals for Provision

In Psalm 78:23-25, God opened the doors of heaven and fed the Hebrews in the desert the food of angels.

“Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven, and had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven, man did eat angels’ food: he sent them meat to the full.”

    Ezekiel – Portals Opened

Now it came about in the thirtieth year, on the fifth {day} of the fourth month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. Ezk. 1.1

The hand of the LORD was on me there, and He said to me, “Get up, go out to the plain, and there I will speak to you.” So I got up and went out to the plain; and behold, the glory of the LORD was standing there, like the glory which I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face. Ezk. 3:22-23

It came about in the sixth year, on the fifth {day} of the sixth month, as I was sitting in my house with the elders of Judah sitting before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell on me there. Then I looked, and behold, a likeness as the appearance of a man; from His loins and downward {there was} the appearance of fire, and from His loins and upward the appearance of brightness, like the appearance of glowing metal. Ezk. 8:1-2

    Portals Over Geographical Locations

    Habakkuk

In the second chapter of Habakkuk we see the prophet faithful to watch and to see what the Lord will say to him and that what the Lord speaks,  to write it down. Habakkuk is waiting at the place where he faithfully goes to pray and wait upon the Lord.

Often God will establish a portal over a geographical location after long prayer and supplication has been made by a faithful servant of God.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Hab. 2:1-2

In November of 2003 after moving from the Dallas area to Central Texas (the wilderness) I felt compelled by God to desperately pray for a well to be established in our home.  Read my blog titled “When God Fills the Well”. Read When God Fill the Well

That day, God established a portal in our home, and since then, our home hasn’t been the same. Witnessed by ourselves and others, at times, angels are seen coming and going into the earth on secret assignments as well as to bring us revelation, anointing, answers to our prayers and a sundry of things as God desires.

The Lord has promised us, that as long as we remain at our current location, the portal will be established;  When we leave the house the portal will be removed.

Portals can be established in certain geographical places and some are known today in the earth such as over Jerusalem. Many Christians who travel to Jerusalem report being flooded with revelation of the things of God during supernatural experiences such as dreams, visions, transportations back and forward in time and these experiences are not uncommon.

Many Christians visiting John Wesley’s (1703 –1791) home in England, tell that when they enter in his prayer closet, that they experience the presence of God!

     Portals Established Over Individuals

    Jesus

Portals can also be established over a person life as we find over Jesus’ life.

And He *said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” Jn. 1:51

“Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,” Lk. 3:21

“While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, ‘This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!”’ Mat. 17:5

“After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove {and} lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.” Mat. 3:16-17

    Apostle John

heavenly ladderWhile John was in exile on the isle of Patmos, a portal opened and he began to receive great mysteries of things to come.  This is a great example of a portal, door or ancient gate opening between the third heaven  and a great example of how God uses a portal to establish revelation of His mysteries to man.

“After these things I looked, and behold, a door {standing} open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like {the sound} of a trumpet speaking with me, said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”’ Rev 4:1

“And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here.’ Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.”’ Rev. 11:12

“And I saw heavenopened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it {is} called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. “ Rev. 19:11

    Maria Woodworth-Etter

There have been several ministries throughout history where God established a portal over a person, and when they ministered, revival s with signs and wonders occurred with the presence of God filling the church or even the region such as Maria Woodworth-Etter (1844–1924).

     Today’s Relevance

In Zechariah 3, Joshua the high priest was clothed in filthy garments, standing before an angel, and the angel said, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” The angel declares that the iniquity has been taken away from Joshua and he is now clothed in festival garments and then a clean turban is placed upon his head.

Then in Zech. 3:7 Joshua is given charge to the Lord’s court and free access to those standing there.

“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing {here.}   ‘Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friendswho are sitting in front of you–indeed they are men who are a symbol, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch (Jesus).” Zech. 3:7-8

     Heavenly Access

Christians have been granted access through Jesus Christ to come boldly before the throne of God.

Paul wrote about the access to the Father by Jesus in Ephesians, “For through Him we both have our accessin one Spirit to the Father.” Eph 2:18 says, “In whom we have boldness and confident accessthrough faith in Him.” Eph. 3:12

While reading Daniel 12:3-4 a few weeks ago, the Holy Spirit flashed inside my spirit understanding of a hidden mystery in the above two verses of scripture.

The context of Daniel 12 is dealing with the times which we are in now. The book was written for our time and as Daniel 12:9 Daniel is told to go his way for the words are sealed up until the end time. Verse 3 speaks of those Christians who have insight and those who will lead many to righteousness and will shine brightly like expanse of the heavens and the stars forever!

“Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.  But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” Dan. 12:3-4

    How Did They Get Insight?

mysteriesIn Daniel 12:4 the mystery is revealed, “Many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”

The back and forth speaks of believers experiencing open gates, ancient doors or portals between the third heaven and earth. Much insight in the last days will come from angels descending to believers or believers ascending to heaven and thus knowledge will increase.

The context of these two verses is, that in the last days God will raise up some believers who will bring much revelatory insight to the body of Christ and to the world for the gathering in of the saints and lost souls.

Much of this personal revelation will be revealed when the gates of heaven open to people and they are taught mysteries such as what is holding back revival from happening in our churches, cities and regions of the earth. There will be individuals who minister under a portal or open heaven and carry a heavy anointing upon their lives, and wherever they travel, revival will break out, miracles occur and a great harvest of end-time souls will be won to God.

By open portal encounters, Biblical understanding of the scriptures will come, bringing clarity to the meaning of the verses, thus bringing correction to errant doctrines in some doctrinal areas in the church today, at least to those who are willing to accept truth.  Indeed, some saints are already experiencing these open heaven encounters and speak and write about them today.

Paul Caught Up Through a Portal

Paul experienced great revelation just as spoken by the prophet Daniel in chapter 12:3-4. Paul heard such inexpressible words that he knew he was not permitted to speak.

“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago–whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows–such a man was caught up to the third heaven.  And I know how such a man–whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.”  2Cor. 12:2-4

     In Summary

If you read the verses of Psalm 24:7, it speaks of the King coming in or coming down through the ancient gate or door and as Daniel 12:3-4 records “back and forth” of believers in third heaven experiences.  “Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!” Ps. 24:7

In Psalm 118:19-20 the scriptures speak of the believer entering in, “Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it.” Ps. 118:19-20

I strongly believe that as the body of Christ, that we don’t seek portals or gates or even to minister under an open heaven.  We do seek God with all our hearts, and it is by our continually seeking Him, and being faithful to His house, that portals may be established at God’s discretion for His purpose and glory.
