Reduce and Thin
July 24, 2012
Time: 05:45 A.M.
I was in bed asleep when I heard the Father say, “I am going to reduce My sheep and thin their wool.”
What you see in the natural often is occurring in the spiritual. Currently, in the world, obesity is on the increase and in America, nearly 40% of adults and 17% of children are obese. However, this dream isn’t about natural fat butt the kind of spiritual fat. When we are spiritually heavy we can’t be taken on the journey the Lord wants to take us on, which is God intended plan for every believer.
The word says, “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.’So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.”
If a person eats without any consideration as to the ingredients, calories or fat content and goes without any exercise, they will eventually become obese, and perhaps morbidly so. It is no different in spiritual matters either. If you attend church week after week, hearing sermon after sermon and never put your faith in action you will become a fat lethargic, lazy, self-gratifying person. As Christians we are not lazy because we’re spiritually fat…We are spiritually fat because we are lazy.
“It shall be that when they enter at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and wool shall not be on them while they are ministering in the gates of the inner court and in the house. Ezek 44:17
I heard the Father say, “I am going to “reduce” My sheep…”
Often through the years the Father has shared His secrets with me as to what He is about to do in the Spirit. This article is about one of those things. Those who want to be the bride of Christ will both submit to the Lord in spiritual matters and be purged, purified, and refined or you will be excluded from the wedding. As in the natural you can’t lose all the excessive fat over night or even in weeks. It can take years to make the necessary changes in bad habits in eating and exercise to be free from obesity.
About eight years ago I heard the Father say to me, “I want to take you on journeys, but you are too heavy!” I heard Him clearly and those words still resonate in my heart to this day. I want to go on those spiritual journeys with the Father. However, it is impossible the natural man to lose spiritual weight in our own capabilities. We can only fall at His feet and submit to Him and ask the Lord to begin to remove the excessive weight from our spiritual walk. I know for myself the last eight years or so has been filled with a lot of fat removing experiences and I’m sure there are more to come. When we see Him we will be like Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 1 JN 3:2
I believe the Father has been and will continue to bring “redemptive” judgments upon the world and especially the United States which is the most spiritual obese nation in the world today. The purpose of these judgments is to bring us to our knees and repent to God to heal our land. 2 Chron 7:14
People may go to church week after week and get spiritually fatter and fatter and have no real concern for the things of God. The warning given to us in the book of Revelation is that a person can be spewed out of God’s mouth like vomit because of being lukewarm. Have you ever been really thirsty and taken a drink of lukewarm water? It will certainly make you feel nauseous and disgusted. As you lifted the glass to your lips you expected a refreshing drink of water, but instead received just the opposite and you wanted to spew!
But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance. 1 Tim. 4:7-9
The Father said, “…and thin their wool.”
I remained in bed quietly repeating His words over and over so as not to forget them. I thought what does this mean to “thin the wool?” There are different “weights” of wool. The thicker the yarn the higher number of “weight” is given to it. As we know wool comes from sheep and must be sheared, washed and spun on a spinning wheel to make it into yarn.
To make wool into yarn it is held in the spinner’s hands, where it is pinched, pulled upon in order to separate it from the bulk of wool. The wool strand is then attached to the spinning wheel. The spinner rotates the spinning wheel, pinching and pulling the wool strand from the bulk wool. The harder the pinching and pulling the thinner the yarn will become.
The Father said, “I am going to reduce My sheep and thin their wool.”
Many people are spiritual lacking, fat, lazy, lethargic, complacent, carefree, dull of hearing, unconcerned, and so forth. As in the natural we can get spiritually fat when we take (intake) in more spiritual matters than we output. Output is faith in action. Where there is no action there is no faith at work (output).
For most so called Christians, their week goes like this. On Sunday morning they attend a church service where the listen to a sermon then the service ends, and they go back home. The rest of the week there is in no interest in being alone with God, praying, reading the Bible, witnessing, or helping others. The same cycle is repeated from week to week with little or no spiritual growth whatsoever. Does this sound familiar?
If you haven’t noticed the churches are filled with spiritual babies. This is because they are never taught to feed themselves or learn to walk on their own towards the throne of God. The missing and most important element in the Christians walk is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and few churches ever even mention it, much less know how to teach it to their flock. It is vital to develop a personal relationship with Him and the only way to do so is by spending time with Him. As long as a person is reliant upon someone else to feed them they will remain a child in the things of Go and not fit to do the work of the Kingdom of God.
The Father said, “I am going to reduce My sheep and thin their wool.”
If you want to be at the “wedding feast of the Lord” then you must submit to the Lord and His chastisements. Don’t be afraid to come to Him and let Him show you what must change for you to become like Him. Jesus Christ will empower you to make the changes required in order to be pleasing in His eyes. We can’t fool Him. He knows our heart. Be honest with Him. Be real!
Purified: “Some of those who have insight will fall, in order to refine, purge and make them pure until the end time; because it is still to come at the appointed time. Dan 11:35
This message is from the Holy Father and for those who have an understanding of the weightier things of God. The wicked will ignore it and find themselves like the five foolish virgins. Mat. 25: 1-12. The foolish virgins saw no need to make any changes. They were spiritually fat. If you have any spiritual insight you will know that this word is from God. We’re in the last days and there isn’t too much time to make the changes you need to make. We all have some priorities which are out of balance and we need to take another long look at our lives to see what is unpleasing to God.
“Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. Dan 12:10
The Lord says, “He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” Rev. 22:20
Update: 1/3/2013 – I have found since this experience in July 2012 that I am being reduced to nothing bit by bit ln my life. Although our flesh writhes in its death throws I find the experience quite liberating although painful. This is necessary preparation for the bride of Christ.
