The Assignments

The Assignments

Journal Entry Dream Date: 2/20/2013

assignmentI was sitting in a room watching a man give a presentation with beautiful and skillfully made charts and graphs, which were so clear and precise that everyone in attendance could easily understand his message.  I said to myself, “Wow, this is an awesome presentation!”

Then in the next scene a man was standing in front of an “U” shaped table with about a dozen people seated around it. Then he looked at one man and showed him about a certain matter and then dispatched the man to go and do it. This was repeated over and over as assignments  out. Each time I hoped my name would be called but after all the assignments were handed out I didn’t have one. I felt left out…then I woke up.

End

Meaning:

The Father has orchestrated the final day assignments to the ones whom He has prepared to go and to do what He gives them to do. They will not get in one another’s way but will follow the leading of Holy Spirit.  Understand that they are not perfect people but they are willing vessels who have submitted to the purging, purifying and refining of the Lord. The Lord is showing us that now is the time for this to happen. You many have felt like you had been through a lot of training and preparation in walk and but nothing ever seemed to come from it. Hidden away like a vessel of honor, reserved only for special occasions. But now the days of being hidden are coming to an end. The Father is dispatching His trusted servants to go out into the world and harvest the Bride of Christ and to be a witness of the His Truths to a wicked and perverse generation.

opening envelopeIn scene 2 of the dream I didn’t get an assignment and I pondered as to why I was left out. I went to the Lord and asked Him what I didn’t get an assignment. Immediately, He reminded me that I already had my assignment and I knew what it was. “Yes, Father you’re right I do.” He gave it to me in 2008. Sometimes the Lord has to remind us what we are truly here on earth for. From my experience in the walk, there have been so many years in the wilderness being groomed; waiting for the release so I we can go and do what He has shown us to do. At times it becomes easy to doubt that it will ever happen. However, now the Lord is handing out assignments to certain individuals and releasing them to go and to do and glorify His name in the earth. He is our CAPTAIN! The COMMANDER in CHIEF! HAIL to the KING!

Who are the ones getting the final day assignments?

The scriptures explain it clearly.

“Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name.  “They will be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. Malachi 3:16-18

His “own possession” is His bride and what do they speak to one another. Why are they in such harmony?

Now read what these laborers say to one another and to the ones they minister too.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Rev 22:14-17

The servants who are being dispatched are laborers to go out into the fields and bring in the last day harvest. In Malachi 3 they have become the Lord’s possession which is His bride and they speak to one another “Come”. The bride of Christ has a heart for Jesus Christ in such a strong way that their ever living moment is to tell others about His goodness and invite them into His presence. The last day assignment is to bring in the lost souls and backsliders unto Christ. These laborers have a powerful anointing to carry out their assignment to testify and win souls, to heal the sick and deliver the afflicted from the power of darkness. They will seek out those who have been forgotten and given up on. They will enter the most dangerous ghettos, the scummiest places on earth. They will go into the back woods, the swamps and even up to the highest remote mountain tops to minister Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ says to you to “Come” and now is the time to “Come” forth.

Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Dan. 12:3

  • Let God Cast the Vision

Proverbs 29:18, says “Where [there is] no vision, the people perish.” The emphasis here is “prophetic vision” berthed by God.Sometimes as Christians, we can be placed into a position that may seem to be too big for our wisdom, knowledge or abilities to accomplish. It is in these kinds of situations that we have to leave our own self-reliance and turn toward God.

Jesus said in Mat. 6:10, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” This verse gives us a model for our lives and especially in any situation which seems to be beyond our own natural abilities or power to achieve.

When asked by church leadership to take on a ministry or project we should approach the throne of God and ask how He wants this ministry or project to be done and then trust Him to reveal it to us. If we allow God to show us what the will of the Father is, then He will put His stamp on it and we will be successful in His eyes.

When my wife and I were asked by our church leadership to begin a new ministry, we knew immediately that we didn’t have a clue how to do it. We didn’t hide it from our pastors that we were clueless in this matter, in fact, we told them we hadn’t even noticed that this ministry was needed. We left the meeting with our pastors and began to ask God to show us His vision for this ministry. We knew we needed His plan to bring about His will and to complete our pastor’s vision. I hate to think about how it would have turned out if we hadn’t started seeking God first.

God then showed me a vision where my wife and I were standing outdoors, we each had a shovel in our hands and were digging a grave-shaped hole. I was thinking “why are we digging a grave”? When we stopped digging, we reached down into the grave and pulled out a person who was dead. As we pulled them up and out of the grave, we dusted them off, and as we cared for them, we saw them come back to life. Then the vision was over, but then we knew what God wanted this ministry to be.The vision cast by God showed us the heart of God in this ministry however, God left it up to us in how we would do things to bring His will to pass. If God had to tell us every little detail of what to do, we would be nothing more than dim-witted people.

Moses didn’t know how to build a tabernacle nor had there ever been a tabernacle on earth; Moses needed God to cast him a vision. God said to Moses, “According to all that I am going to show you, {as} the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct {it.}” Ex. 25:9

When you allow God to show you His vision for a ministry or a project, you will find greater enthusiasm, and in times of doubt, discouragement or seemingly ineffectiveness, be sure and remember the given vision and hold fast to His will.
