Five Questions To The Lord

Five Questions

five questionsOne day a few years ago, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and I knew I was to come before Him. He was drawing me to His seat of council. Immediately I walked towards my prayer room, but paused to grab a pen and tablet in order to record our conversation. When I sat down, I began to seek answers from the Lord about one particular church I attended years ago. This church’s leadership had one main goal and that is to grow in numbers in order to increase their personal finances and influence in the community. If a church can do this it appears successful within the church system and local community. This particular church has tried it all, and I mean everything in order to grow yet it does not grow.  It had become a business to them.

Therefore, I began to ask the Lord questions and these are His exact words spoken. You judge for yourself as to whether I heard Him. Take it before God yourself and seek His wisdom in the matter.

Five questions I asked the Lord.

Q1. Why doesn’t this church grow?
A1. Because they want it to grow.

Q2. What is wrong with that?
A2. It is their vision not mine.

Q3. The early church grew and increased?
A3. As I added members.

Q4. Why then do some churches grow and others do not?
A4. It is not about growth. It is about the Kingdom. Each church has a different assignment and the motives behind the pulpit must be 100% for My things and not things, not numbers, or anything man can say, “This is a successful ministry because of a building or pews filled”. What are they doing with the people in the pews, warehousing them? Corralling them as their sheep to control while they feed themselves and starve My sheep. It is not My way and a day of judgment awaits for those evil, sluggard, selfish shepherds.

Q5. How does leadership change their mindset?
A5. Give up control to Me. Find their true place in My heart and allow My heart to reign in their lives.

-End

If you are a reader of this blog then you know the many revelations the Lord has given me over the years about the harlot church system, which is firmly in place in the world. I know the harlot church system is a hard revelation to see and understand. I know it is not a popular message. The church system will entrench herself into the hearts of those who attend her. She offers something for each and everyone who attends, but the one thing it cannot offer is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The harlot will cleverly steer you away from a personal relationship with Jesus by inserting herself as preeminent.

Blessing of Peace to your soul and may you find the life of God ever-increasing in your daily life.

Amen!

Scripture Reference:

Come out of her!

Warning to Escape Babylon’s Judgment

4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

“‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
5 for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
6 Give back to her as she has given;
pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
7 Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
I will never mourn.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.

Revelation 18: 4-8

“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you noverseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. “I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Acts 20:28-30

    1. God has called me to start a church from our house and I 100% agree. No more fleecing. No more numbers games. Just discipleship and 100% enjoying God’s presence.

      1. Samuel,

        That sounds awesome. My favorite times in the walk was in the home fellowship and my worst times was when the fellowship leader wanted a building and got it. Put a name on it and then the entire mood of the fellowship got tight and self consciousness about newcomers, hoping to get them to like us. I left shortly after being reprimanded by the pastor and fellow members for missing church due to my work responsibilities. They didn’t comprehend how much the Spirit was out there helping me do my job. Have fun with it, avoid formats and rituals. Be free, remain free for the Spirit to move as he pleases. Bro. Bill
